Registering people to vote when they get a driver’s license sounds like it would do a good job of making it easy to get people registered to vote. What could go wrong? Surely nothing like “voter fraud” could ever occur when you hand out voter registration cards like coupons after a visit to the DMV.
Yeah, right.
